About Us

Creative Eldercare Consultants mission is to provide kind, responsive and knowledgeable assistance during the often stressful and time-sensitive process of making care and housing changes for a loved one. They also provide direction to valuable resources in multiple counties such as elder law attorneys, veteran’s organizations and other types of support for seniors.


new_julie_pic_2016Julie Haskins-White, CSA, CDP (248-842-4980), President/Owner of Creative Eldercare Consultants, has her bachelors degree in Marketing, over 30 years of professional healthcare experience in Michigan, and founded the business in 2012.  Julie is well known in the industry as a kind, passionate and knowledgeable advocate for her elderly clients and their families. As part of her 20+ years in home health care marketing, outreach and liaison work,  she served as the first Executive Director of Trinity Health’s Private In-Home Services division, with multi-site responsibility over 11 locations statewide. Julie has personally assisted thousands of families in finding optimal solutions for their loved one’s care and housing needs throughout her career.  She has earned her Certified Senior Advisor’s Designation, which provides an in-depth overview of the social, legal, spiritual and financial aspects of the aging process. More recently, she became a Certified Dementia Practitioner to keep up on trends, techniques and new options for clients with all types of dementia.

 


Kari DeCarlo, BSW, CDP (248-513-7317), Clinical Senior Placement Consultant, has her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with over 20 years of health care experience in Southeastern Michigan. She’s earned her Certified Dementia Practitioner designation to complement her outstanding assessment skills. In addition to hands-on experience as a social worker in sub-acute rehabilitation and group home settings, she was an exceptional VIP fundraiser for the American Cancer Society for five years.   Kari provides professional and compassionate guidance throughout the delicate process of finding the best care and housing options for our clients.  Her families and professional referral sources love her upbeat “can do” attitude. She is very determined and will work tirelessly to find the right match for you and your loved ones.

 

Pat Davis, LPN, CDP (810-247-8561), Clinical Senior Placement Consultant, has her nursing degree and over 30 years of professional health care experience in Southeastern Michigan. Pat has an excellent background in geriatric and psychiatric nursing. Some of her career highlights include managing a leading mental health facility for several years, as well as oversight of adult foster care homes, and assisted living program management in senior housing. Pat has a special gift of working with families to find the perfect placement post-discharge. Her bubbly, can-do attitude, excellent assessment skills and kind heart allow her to do great things for her clients. Her goal is to always guide families in a timely, loving and caring fashion to help them find the best possible options for care and housing.

Cynthia Robert, Executive Administrative Assistant (248-505-6722), Cynthia has over 40 years experience working alongside corportate and small business executive teams. With her personal and professional knowledge of eldercare, and her excellent communication, accounting and organizational skills, she provides essential support to our team, clients, families and communities.

Marisa White, Marketing Intern, Marisa is a senior at Western Michigan University, majoring in Marketing. She joined our staff two years ago. She is responsible for our content creation and social media marketing. She also provides administrative support for in person events and administrative clerical assistance.
