Julie Haskins-White, Owner/Managing Partner of Creative Eldercare Consultants, has over twenty years of professional healthcare experience in Southeastern Michigan. In addition to home care marketing and operations management, she has a strong background in assessing client’s needs and working with families to find resources and care. She served as Executive Director of Trinity Health’s Private Duty Services division, with multi-site responsibilities over 7 offices. Other experience includes directing the Oakwood Healthcare System’s Private Home Care division. She has earned the Certified Senior Advisors Designation, which provides an in-depth overview of the social, legal, spiritual and financial aspects of the aging process.
Creative Eldercare Consultants mission is to provide kind, responsive and knowledgeable assistance during the often stressful and time-sensitive process of making care and housing changes for a loved one. She serves as an objective voice for families in transition and connects them to resources to assist them in finding the best senior living match.
Kari DeCarlo, Vice-President of Creative Eldercare Consultants, has over five years of Social Work experience, including nursing homes, group homes, and juvenile delinquency. In addition to her Social Work background, she also has a tremendous amount of experience working in the non-profit arena at the American Cancer Society, as a Corporate Events Manager. Kari possesses strong assessment skills and can identify one’s needs for appropriate placement. At Creative Eldercare Consultants, Kari aims to provide professional and compassionate guidance during the challenging process of finding the best care and housing match. Her unbiased viewpoint for families will help reduce any unforeseen placement concerns during this often delicate time.
Justin Crawford, Senior Placement Consultant, has a Master’s of Science in Health Promotion & Wellness Management. He has over 5 years of experience with health education, sales, business development, and a passion for working with the elderly population. In addition, he is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and completed a wellness internship at Hurley Medical Center in 2014. He has designed public health campaigns for the city of Pontiac promoting health & wellness. Justin has a compassionate approach to working with seniors and learned how to guide families through transitions as a recent independent living senior advisor. His main objective is to help guide families, and their loved ones, thru this lifestyle change and connect them to the appropriate next steps.
