I had cared for my Dad for seven years, sometimes independently and sometimes with the help from assisted living facility. I struggled to find the right fit as his health care needs fluctuated. A crisis in Dad’s health brought me to a near breaking point. A decision for Dad’s placement after a hospitalization and subsequent rehab stay had to be made quickly. I was overwhelmed by many choices, but lack of a truly good fit. It was such a relief to be put in contact with Julie and work with her. She was my saving grace. Her experiences, contacts and research assisted my in finding the perfect adult foster care for Dad that I couldn’t have found on my own. Dad has been in the adult foster care for over a year.
